Federated Ordnance offers cutting-edge manufacturing of firearms ammunition and loading components. Located in Caldwell, Idaho Federated Ordinance brings a modern approach to the manufacturing process, safety, and reliability, of the ammunition industry within the United States. Federated Ordinance is dedicated to building on the timeless traditions and history of our shooting and sporting past and making available a modern and lasting source of ammunition and components for the future. As a quality manager you would plan, direct, and coordinate quality assurance programs. You would formulate quality control policies and control quality of laboratory and production efforts.

Requirements:

We are looking for an individual who is driven by quality and improving processes. The roll may include but is not limited to;


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with information, specifications, and pricing of products.
  • Track and elevate issues to management where applicable.
  • Work with inside manufacturing to coordinate contract timelines and product availability.
  • Routine sales travel to visit new and existing customers and attend relevant trade shows.
  • Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources.
  • Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries and request.
  • Partner with current customers to ascertain current needs and generate additional sales.
  • Promote sales opportunities and marketing campaigns.
  • Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, call reports and assigned projects.
  • Provide market trends and pricing of competitive products for positioning.
  • Attend range activities for demonstration and participate in marketing media where needed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum five years’ experience in sales, preferably in the firearms or LE/Mil equipment industry.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite, Fishbowl, Salesforce, or Quickbooks is a plus.
  • Knowledge, understanding and comfort with the safe operation and handling of modern firearms.

Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment with some travel to customers and to other locations required. May be exposed to loud noises, toxic chemicals, and dangerous machinery when on the plant floor.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
